  • Who manages my website?

    We take care of all of the content that is filtered to your site on a daily basis. Our content team updates the supplier content as often as we receive it. When you first sign up for your new website, our support team will help you setup and customize your website. Once your website is up and running we’ll hand access over to you and you are able to fully maintain your website on your own. Our websites are built on a user friendly template based platform that allows for easy editing and maintenance. Of course, our support team is always available to help and assist you with any changes you need to make to your website.

    Absolutely, we have content from over 100 suppliers that you are able to choose from. Selecting preferred suppliers or adding co-branded or affiliated links to your website are a great way to ensure your preferred suppliers are featured on your site. We also have tools enabled to automatically support the preferred suppliers of your consortia, just let us know!

  • What are preferred suppliers?

    Preferred suppliers are the suppliers you’d like to feature in travel content that displays on your website. You are not required to select preferred suppliers but this is an option if you have suppliers you do most of your business with. For instructions on how to set this up, click here.

  • What are co-branded or affiliate links?

    Co-Branded or affiliate links are links that come directly from suppliers that can be added to your page. This is a great way to incorporate suppliers that we may not have content for or that you’d like to highlight. Often, they also have an option for your customers to be able to book online with them.     Although we don’t currently have a blog feature, we have many ways to connect your blog to your site. We can create a link that goes directly to the blog or embed the blog directly on the site.

  • Can I link to my social media pages from my website?

  • What is SEO?

    SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization. It is the process of getting traffic from the free, natural search results on search engines. All major search engines such as Google and Yahoo have primary search results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users.

  • Do you support SEO?

    We do, our websites are built to support SEO and different online analytics. We are not an SEO company but we have tools built in to help support your SEO goals.

  • How can I improve my SEO?

    • Make sure that you have good titles for your pages. Write something unique, rather than the included default text, for the Home, Cruises and Vacations page. Add your city, state and zip code in your site footer.

    • Add ALT text to your images. Add some headlines to your text. Headlines will be pre-formatted to stand out from regular text, and are coded in such a way that search engines are able to “read” them.

    • Check your spelling and grammar! You don't want to drive away clients who have come to your site because of simple, preventable errors!

    • Complete Google's site verification (make sure to choose the verify by META tag option!)

    • Update your about us page to list your specialties and where you've been recently. Show your clients why they want to book their vacation through you.

    • Create a new page to keep clients coming back. Maybe a weekly specials page, or a tab for some of the various cruise line/vacation packagers weekly deals (Some ideas include: Royal Caribbean Sales Event, Celebrity Exciting Deals, Holland America Flash Fares, Norwegian Cruise Lines Weekly Deals, Carnival Spotlight, Silversea Luxury on Sale, Rockwell Weekly Deals, Pleasant Holidays Weekly Deals).

    This is something that commonly happens when you start a new website or purchase your domain. This is something that you can choose to do but we would encourage you to try to improve your SEO on your own first. If you decide you would like to go with a 3rd party company we would encourage you to do a bit of research on the authenticity of the company as well as their background.

    Developed exclusively for travel agents, ESP is an innovative social media posting service where relevant content is curated by social media experts and queued up to post on your business Facebook page at pre-determined times each day.

  • Can ESP post to my Instagram or Twitter for me?

    Due to the restrictions of those programs, currently ESP cannot post directly to your Instagram or Twitter. However, many agents choose to share the posts directly from their business page to other social media accounts that they own.

  • I noticed I haven’t seen any ESP posts in over a week, what happened?

    Due to different security features within Facebook, you are required to reauthorize 3rd party programs accessing your Facebook page from time to time. Often, if you haven’t noticed any recent posts, all you are required to do is reauthorize your ESP account. To do this, you’ll simply log in to https://esp.espsocialmedia.com/Login. and enter in the same log in credentials you used to start your account initially. For more information click here.   • How can I preview ESP posts before they are shared with my followers?

    Generally ESP posts are available for viewing 2-4 days in advance. To preview those posts, log in to https://esp.espsocialmedia.com/Login and select Manage Posts.   • What if there’s a post I don’t want to share, can I opt out of it? 

    Yes, you can decide to block any post from your page. To do this, you’ll simply log in to https://esp.espsocialmedia.com/Login and select Manage Posts. On this page you’ll see a category titled Opt-Out By and this tells you the date and time you must opt out of the post by. To opt out of a post simply select the green Block button to the right of the post and this will prevent it from sharing to your page. For more information click here..   • How many times a day does ESP post to my page? Can I adjust this?

    Typically, ESP will post to your page 2-4 times per day depending on available content. To change how many posts per day will be sent to your Facebook page, simply log in to https://esp.espsocialmedia.com/Login and select Manage Profile and then Edit Profile. On the Edit Customer Profile page, you’ll see an option to enter in the MAXIMUM number of posts that will appear on your page each day.

  • Can you help me add a logo to my Facebook page?

    Unfortunately no, our support team is only able to assist with Passport Online, Inc. related products.

Email with Passport Online, Inc.

  • Do you host email?

    With your website subscription we are able to host up to 5 email addresses with no additional charge for your agency. Any email addresses after the complimentary 5 will be charged accordingly.

  • You host my email; can I check it from Outlook? How?

    Yes, you can setup your Outlook to link with your NexCite² mail. How you do this can vary greatly with which version of Outlook you use in your agency. For the most detailed instructions, locate your email program here and follow the instructions.

  • Can I forward it to another email provider? How?

    Yes, you can forward your NexCite mail to a different email program. To do this you’ll log into user.vacationport.com and select Forwarding from the menu on the left. From there, simply enter in the email address you’d like to forward the mail to and check the box to “Delete original message” and it should begin immediately.   • I am missing emails, what can I do?

    It’s possible your email may have gotten caught in spam. To check your spam log in to user.vacationport.com using the same credentials you’d use for your email. Here you can access the spam on the email server.

  • I have a lot of spam in my inbox, why is this? Can I adjust my filter?

    For the most detailed explanation of spam and your email please visit this link. Adjusting your spam filter is a very simple option to try and eliminate some of the spam in your inbox. Detailed instructions.

  • What is the difference between webmail and user.vacationport.net?  

    Webmail (webmail.vacationport.net) will act as your inbox, you can send and receive mail here just like any other email provider. User.vacationport.net will act as your administrative tools. Here you can check your spam filters and settings, setup email forwarding and away messages.

  • Can I set up an extended absence greeting for my email when I’m going to be away?

    Yes, this is a simple process. To do so, log into user.vacationport.net using your regular email login credentials and select the forwarding tab. For more detailed instructions, click here.

  • It says my password is invalid, what now?

    If you’re getting a response that says your password is invalid, you may need to reset your password with us. To do so, please send a request to or call (503) 626-7766 option 2 and a member of the support team can assist you.

    Tandem is an on-line cruise booking tool that can integrate with either VacationPort or NexCite. It can be used on your website or as an agent productivity tool that allows your agents and independent contractors to research and book in one central location.

  • How does it work?

    Tandem is an on-line cruise booking tool that can integrate with either VacationPort or NexCite. It enables your agents, customers, or both to complete bookings using a live connection through to different cruise lines.

  • What cruise lines are bookable?

  • How much it cost/how does pricing work?

  • Does Tandem allow consumers to book cruises, or is it only for agents?

    Tandem can be used for both - it can be implemented on your website, with either NexCite or VacationPort, and it also has an agent portal. You can use both or just one.

  • What do I need in order to be able to use Tandem?

    You will need to have either VacationPort or NexCite, in addition to being a registered seller with the bookable cruise lines under your own IATA/CLIA/ARC.

  • Do I have to have an account with Amadeus or Sabre in order to use Tandem?

    You do not! You only need to be a registered seller with the bookable cruise lines under your own IATA/CLIA/ARC, we'll take care of the rest!

  • Will booking through Tandem change my commission rate?

    No, using Tandem will not change your commission rate. Tandem passes along the commission rate information that you already have agreed upon with the cruise lines.
